In July 2009, the Professional Liason Group (PLG) of the Health Professions Council (HPC) has made its report into the Staturory Regulation of Psychotherapy and Counselling. Whilst there have been some issues about the HPC becoming the regulator for the profession, the NCHP supports completely the efforts being made on the profession's behalf by the UKCP.
