Why Leicester?
Leicester is easily accessible from most places. It takes only one hour and nine minutes from St Pancras International in London, and train fares are from £11 each way. So from central London it takes almost the same time as it would take to get to Heathrow!
Leicester train station connects to many other major cities directly too, such as Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff, Sheffield, Leeds, York, Peterborough, Cambridge and Norwich
Road access is simple via the M1 or the M69 and both East Midlands and Birmingham airports are easily accessible with good public transport links. The Grand Hotel has a car park and is just 500m from the train station.
Why not bring your partner or family?
Leicester has a lot to offer including the National Space Museum, many other museums, the brand new Highcross shopping centre and fantastic food: especially from the Indian sub-continent. You can also get a train to Alton Towers! More information is available here.
